Situated on the exclusive Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes, is the Martinez hotel. This luxury 5 star hotel overlooks the Mediterranean and offers some fantastic views over Cannes. The Cannes Riviera is a beautiful area and the hotel is perfectly placed.

The hotel has a long and rich history, the architectural beauty and façade of the Martinez is timeless. It’s a magnificent looking large building, with 409 guest rooms and 27 luxury suites. Also boasting one of the largest Penthouse Suites in Europe.

The Grand Hyatt Cannes Hôtel Martinez also has the only 2-star Michelin restaurant in Cannes, Le Relais, a luxury spa, a heated pool and a large private beach. To say being a guest here is an exceptional experience is an understatement, it’s a truly unique and luxurious experience that you will not forget.

We stayed in one of the newly refurbished suites, it was simply named the ‘Corner Suite’. We were overwhelmed with the feeling of opulence as soon as we opened the double doors.

“It was an absolute joy to be a guest.”

The suite had three small terraces, a spacious living area complete with a large dining table, a separate bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe, and a beautiful spacious bathroom. Every detail, finish, and piece of furniture has been carefully and meticulously presented. The room has a modern art-deco feel, and you do get a special feeling staying there.

The Martinez is an ideal place to stay for those who like a touch of Hollywood glamour throughout their stay, there is a wealth of film related history to absorb in Cannes, and this hotel has seen its fair share.

We do not have a bad word to say about the suite, or the hotel. It was an absolute joy to be a guest, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The restaurant, gym, spa, and private beach offer guests a complete experience. This is a great way to experience the Cannes Riviera, we couldn’t recommend it highly enough, If you're planning to stay in Cannes, the Martinez is how to visit in style.
