We were here for cocktails, so we set to them. Our first order was probably the finest cocktail we have ever had. A strawberry mousetini. It was layered with fresh strawberries, vodka, Cointreau, and Chambord raspberry, fresh cream and crushed biscuits.

It was divine! The strawberries were sweet, light and full of flavour. Mixed with the alcohol added a nice bite to the taste which was softened by the cream. The crushed biscuit added a unique texture to the whole that only added to the experience.

We would have happily ordered those all night, but in the interest of reviewing we also had a Pimm’s and lemonade and a Hendrix gin and slimline tonic.

"The strawberry mousetini was probably the finest cocktail we have ever had"

Everything was great except asking the staff to remove the cucumber from the gin was akin to asking them to take their clothes off and dance naked. Such a simple request seemed to stun multiple staff members into silence.
