Innside by Melia is one of the latest hotels to hit the flourishing city of Manchester. As the name suggests, the hotel is part of the luxury hotel group Melia, so we had high hopes of what to expect. The hotel is located in the new First Street development and is just a few steps from Deansgate. It’s a superb location to explore the wonderful city of Manchester.

The hotel is modern and simplistic throughout. We experienced one of their spacious suites during our stay which included a separate lounge area and bedroom, along with a large open-plan bathroom. The bathroom was home to a large bath and a separate walk-in shower. The suite included a complimentary minibar and WiFi, along with a plasma TV in each room. The suite was well-designed and bright, with a contemporary design that’s appeasing on the eye and sets a relaxing atmosphere.

“A fine addition to the flourishing city of Manchester.”

Exploring the rest of the hotel you will find a large fitness room known as the ‘Wellness Suite’, which is fitted out with an impressive collection of the latest exercise equipment, spa treatments are also available for those looking to be pampered. Everything you could possibly want to make your stay a healthy and relaxing one. There is also a sauna and steam room which certainly prepares you for the day ahead.

There is a large car park located almost next door which makes it easy to visit by car. Staff are friendly throughout and they also have a DJ most nights of the week in their ‘Street on 1st’ restaurant.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the heart of Manchester which is modern and ticks all the boxes for quality and comfort, Innside by Melina will not disappoint. It’s a fine addition to the flourishing city of Manchester, we had a wonderful experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
