La Terrazza can be found located at the Borgo San Felice resort, in Italy. This restaurant offers the best of both worlds - casual dining, but in stunning surroundings.

Guests are given the option to dine either inside in lovely surroundings, or outside on their beautiful terrace - which lends its name to La Terrazaa.

“It truly is a stunning location, with food and service to match.”

During our visit, we opted to dine outside, in a bid to make the most of the wonderful view. This terrace allows diners to look our across the resort’s wonderful grounds, as well as further afield to the surrounding vineyards.

Being a former village, the resort itself boasts a number of “out-buildings”, including the old church and school. There are a lot of beautiful sights to see out on that terrace, and it makes for an absolutely wonderful dining spot.

We were greeted by our friendly waiter and shown to our table upon arrival. We perused the menu, and took in the view.

To start, we opted for the spaghetti with tomato and basil, served with cheese and black pepper; as well as the tagliolini with calamari, zucchinis, and fresh seafood. The starters were very delicious, and evidently made with only the freshest of ingredients.

For our main courses, we opted for the sea bass with seasonal vegetables, as well as the roast rack of lamb served with wild mushrooms, and extra virgin olive oil mashed potatoes.

Again, our main courses were stunning.

To accompany our meal, we chose a bottle of the San Felice, Chianti Classico, 2011 - naturally - which was the perfect accompaniment.

We would certainly return to La Terrazza, and look forward to doing so. We would recommend La Terrazza for a wonderful lunch, or a special supper. It truly is a stunning location, with food and service to match.
