Capri Palace can be found located in the heart of Capri, tucked away in complete seclusion, making it an idyllic getaway location. Boasting panoramic views of the coastline, Capri Palace truly is a magical spot to visit and take in the joys of the Mediterranean. The magic of its setting is quite something to behold.

When we arrived, the beauty of the place blew us away and we couldn’t wait to check in. The staff were wonderfully friendly, and truly understood the meaning of hospitality, so we were extremely well looked after from the moment we arrived. After a swift check-in we were soon shown to our Capritouch Executive Suite, which really was quite something.

Our suite embodied everything one could expect from five star luxury and was nothing short of impressive. The suite itself was a wash of white, and included a separate living area to the bedroom, as well as an outdoor terrace complete with garden furniture. The terrace really was the most wonderful place to enjoy a morning coffee and take in the stunning sea views. The bathroom was huge and offered a roll-top bath and separate walk-in drench style shower, as well as his and hers wash basins. There was an abundance of thick, fully towels and robes, which were an absolute joy to use. The colour palette of our room was simply beautiful, with the bathroom being painted a deep dark blue that was rather opulent, especially in contrast to the selection of black and white photography adorning the walls.

“From relaxation to cultural experiences and superb dining, you really need look no further, as Capri Palace truly has it all.”

Capri itself offers a wealth of cultural excursions that are well worth exploring; the gulf of Naples offers the most wonderful views and is famous for its stunning sunsets. As well as the views, we highly recommended visiting the piazzetta, as well as the quiet town of Anacapri. The Blue Grotto sea cave is also a mesmerising experience, and one we cannot recommend highly enough. Capri Palace offers the perfect base from which to explore all the delights of this island.

However, if you’re looking to relax in the tranquillity of Capri Palace itself, you won’t be disappointed by the facilities available. The Capri Beauty Farm by Mytha SPA offers a wealth of different treatments with its holistic take on the spa experience, marrying both Western and Eastern traditions with a focus on medical and scientific principles. From weight loss treatments to anti-ageing and traditional spa experiences, the Capri Beauty Farm really does offer something for everyone. If you’re simply looking to take a dip, then the stunning outdoor pool is a joy to experience, being very large with underwater windows that allow guests who are arriving at the hotel to see into the swimming pool itself.

If you’re looking to wine and dine then there are plenty of options for you at Capri Palace, including Bar degli Artisti, Bistrot Ragù and Wine Cellar Dolce Vita. Capri Palace also offers two Michelin Star restaurants including L’Olivo, which boasts two Michelin Stars, and Il Riccio, which holds one.

L’Olivo is the baby of Executive Chef Andrea Migliaccio from nearby Ischia. Migliaccio works his magic in this restaurant to deliver impeccable, gastronomic dishes that are both innovative and traditional to the region. Il Riccio can be found located at a separate location on the cliff edge of Capri, near the renowned Blue Grotto. This restaurant is set within Capri Palace’s Beach Club, where you can enjoy a beautiful private space overlooking the surrounding ocean whilst sipping on a cocktail in their lounge area that sits on top of the restaurant.

As well as Il Riccio, the Beach Club offers sun beds and loungers that allow for complete relaxation on the water’s edge. This truly is a great place to come to take a day to rejuvenate and really appreciate the wonderful surroundings. There is a complimentary shuttle bus that runs to and from the hotel when required.

Capri Palace really is a haven, the attention to detail in this hotel really is something, from the abundance of art and sculptures around the property to the service and facilities. You’d be hard pushed to find a better experience in Capri for all-round excellence. Wherever you find yourself in the hotel and its surrounding grounds, there’s always some beauty to marvel at.

We wouldn’t hesitate to return to Capri Palace, and it comes highly recommended by us as the perfect destination to really enjoy the wonders of Capri as an island. From relaxation to cultural experiences and superb dining, you really need look no further, as Capri Palace truly has it all.
