Pennyhill Park is renowned for its spa facilities and is located in Bagshot just outside of London. The long, sweeping driveway that leads up to the hotel gives you an idea of the sheer scale of the grounds around the hotel as you approach. Pennyhill Park is part of the Exclusive Hotels Collection, and offers an abundance of uniquely styled and designed rooms and suites.

During our visit we experienced the Violet Junior Suite. The title of ‘Junior’ doesn’t do this suite justice. With no two rooms looking the same at Pennyhill Park you have a real sense of exclusivity. Our suite was incredibly spacious and set over two floors. The lower level was home to a charming four-poster bed, along with the bathroom complete with his and hers wash basins and a large walk-in shower. We also had use of a plasma TV, wardrobe, mini bar and a large dining table and chairs.

“We left Pennyhill Park with memories to treasure and would return in a heartbeat.”

Upstairs you will find a beautiful bath mounted behind two pillars surrounded by beautiful deep purple mosaic-style tiles. There was also a small electric window set within the ceiling which allows you to relax in the bath while listening to birds tweeting away in the morning. An experience not found in many hotels, and one to be savoured.

Moving back to the hotel and its facilities,The Brasserie is one of the hotels two award-winning restaurants. The spa facilities are the jewel in the crown at Pennyhill Park, offering everything and anything one could possibly wish for. There is a choice of eight pools, one of which has underwater music, there are a selection of saunas, steam rooms, fitness studios, and a vast amount of treatments and finally the jogging trails to name a few. My personal favourites being the Ice Cave and experience showers. If you’re looking to relax and pamper yourself then it doesn’t get much better than Pennyhill Park.

There’s also a golf course for those who enjoy the spending time on the putting green. There are vast, immaculately maintained grounds to explore. The staff throughout are a true credit to the hotel, service is always delivered with a smile. We left Pennyhill Park with memories to treasure and would return in a heartbeat.
