The Sagauro Palm Springs Hotel is a fun focused hotel that is very popular with the hipster set. The hotel is a very memorable rainbow coloured building, quite an eye-opener when you first set eyes on it. It’s situated in the picturesque mountain area of Palm Springs, and offers a chance to escape from the norm.

The hotel has a gorgeous swimming pool, the design of the pool and the surrounding area is something to behold. There is a very unique look and feel to everything at the Sagauro, and it works.

We had a suite with a balcony overlooking the pool area. We could also see the garden courtyard, city lights, and a wonderful mountain landscape. The living quarters was spacious and echoed the modern-art design found throughout the hotel.

“It’s certainly something a little different and worth experiencing.”

The suite was fitted out with handmade Mexican furniture, organic bath products and linens, a work station, spacious sitting area, iPod docking station and a large flat screen TV, and simple but interesting pieces of wall art.

There are regular pool parties on the weekends and the resort really comes to life. There is also a tapas restaurant serving some delicious tapas dishes and another Mexican restaurant known at El Jefe. So plenty to do on the resort.

We had a memorable stay at the Sagauro Palm Springs, it’s certainly something a little different and worth experiencing. If you’re looking for a colourful and interesting hotel, this is going to tick all the boxes for you.
