Build in the 1300’s, the Beaumont Estate Hotel in Old Windsor is as traditional as it sounds. Set in 40 acres of land within Royal Windsor, the hotel is certainly one of a kind. Split between two grand manors, the hotel certainly lives up to the term ‘estate’ and includes a Conference Village and it’s own chapel.

Located within the beautiful setting of Old Windsor, the Beaumont Estate is the perfect location from which to enjoy all of the attractions that Windsor and the surrounding area have to offer. In particular, Windsor Castle are a mere 5 minute taxi ride from the hotel.

“The hotel provides ample space and facilities as well as beautiful views.”

When we arrived at the Beaumont Estate we made our way into the main house with a sense of anticipation but we were disappointed to find around fifty suitcases piled-up in the reception area. After check-in we were told that we were booked into the White House rather than the main building, and were required to journey over to the other building. However, the White House seemed like a more impressive building, and so we were pleased to be situated over there.

Upon entering our room, a White House Deluxe suite, one of the first things we noticed were the beautiful views over the estate and surrounding area. We were also pleased to find that the room was very spacious and simplistic in design. The bedroom was very spacious and contained a king size bed with cluster filled pillows. The bathroom was also large and contained a free standing bath as well as his and hers sinks

The hotel caters for large or small and offers a range of facilities for any business needs, including video conferencing, rooms for 500 people or more. Despite our initial negative experience, the hotel clearly provides ample space and facilities as well as beautiful views and lots of history.
