    Lexus RC F Review

    Lexus RC F Review

Our first California road trip of 2016 takes us from LA to Arizona and we had the pleasure of driving the Lexus RC F. The all-important letter in this model is ‘F’, this is what makes the car one of the most exciting fast road cars we’ve experienced and symbolises the added additions on this model both visually and mechanically.

Our RC F was the deep sonic red. Sometimes it’s a good feeling to turn heads and stand out from the crowd, and this was certainly the case while driving in this beautiful machine. The exterior styling is nothing short of impressive. Twin oval exhaust pipes, huge alloy wheels, and a large, stylish spoiler make it obvious that this is a seriously powerful car.

“We will be hard pushed to find a more enjoyable drive.”

The interior was a blend of dark colours giving the car a modern and clean look. A large digital display system sits in the middle of the dash, and there are various buttons positioned all over the central console to control the GPS and temperature. The sound system more than lived up to our expectations, the soundproofing was superb too so there was no road noise. All you can hear from inside is the roar of the engine, it’s hard to describe just how deep this sound is without experiencing it first-hand but take it from me, it’s impressive.

With over 400 bhp the RC F isn’t short on power. Obviously we drove sensibly and within the speed limits, but this doesn't mean you can’t put your foot down and feel yourself being pushed into the back of your seat on occasion. The Lexus RC F is a thrilling drive, and it feels very secure on the road so your heart doesn’t need to skip a beat when cornering hard.

We can only hope we get to experience this wonderful piece of engineering again in the future. We will be hard pushed to find a more enjoyable drive.
