The CottoCrudo restaurant, set inside the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in Prague, is a modern and lively restaurant that offers guests a new interpretation on classic Italian cuisine. The hotel itself sets the scene for a beautiful meal; classic renaissance design and 18th century architecture ensures that the Four Seasons in Prague is truly a unique hotel.

The restaurant has a far more contemporary design and creates a vibrant atmosphere that is perfect for quick bites and three course meals alike. During our meal we enjoyed stunning views over the Vltava River which beautifully reflects the lights of this bustling city. Another special touch to our meal was our visit from the chef, who regularly circles the tables and advises guests on their menu choices. This was the perfect start to an already special meal.

I chose to begin my meal with Penne all’arrabiata, while my partner enjoyed the risotto with porchini muchrooms and provola piccante. Both dishes were perfectly cooked. A wonderful start to our meal.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the CottoCrudo and would recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.”

For the second course, I enjoyed pan-fried cod with chickpea puree and artichokes. Simple but perfectly executed, the dish was fresh and light. My partner chose the Veal lombata with fegato grasso, swiss chard and chianti sauce. The veal was cooked beautifully and perfectly accompanied by the swiss chard and delicious sauce.

For dessert I chose the Amerena cherries chocolate cake. This rich but delicate dessert was a wonderful end to a wonderful meal and extremely delicious. My partner chose the selection of homemade sorbets which included lemon and mango. The perfect pallet cleanser, this dessert was refreshing and well-presented.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the CottoCrudo and would recommend it to anyone visiting Prague. We would certainly eat here again.
