Le Restaurant can be found inside Hotel Molitor. It's contestant with the overall art theme throughout the hotel, and the surroundings provide a unique dining experience. If you pick a table next to the large floor-to-ceiling windows you have a spectacular view of the illuminated outdoor pool.

The restaurant has a casual feel, and attracts the artistic and creative crowd. But the food is not to be overlooked, it's the creation of Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno. Le Restaurant is a fun experience, with great food, attentive and helpful staff, and was a pleasure to experience.

"Delectable desserts, a fitting end to a wonderfully pleasant evening."

We started the evening with an aperitif, a glass of Veuve Clicquot Rose.

For our first course we ordered Homemade Foie Gras Pate, with Crusted Pate and Pickled Mushrooms, and Soft Boiled Organic Egg, with Pied De Mouton and Hazelnut, Iberian Chest and Parmiggiano Cheese. The sommelier paired up the starters with a couple of white wines; a glass of vinifera sauvignon blanc 2012, by henry marionnet, and, a glass of san giovanni della sella 2012, which is a straw yellow coloured wine, endowed with both floral notes and warmer aromas which recall ripe tropical fruit. Very tasty and gorgeous as it hits the palate.

For our main course we decided on the Certified Black Angus Beef, served with Foie Gras, Shallot Sauce and Fresh Gnocchi Pasta. And, a Molitor Burger, prepared with Galicia Beef, Ruccola Salad and Parmiggiano Cheese, Sun Dried Tomato and Homemade Ketchup. Very enjoyable meals, a perfect blend of flavours and the homemade ketchup was a delicious condiment. Our wine for this course was terrasses d'hortense 2010, domaine de scamandre. A wine with a Juicy, wild raspberry fruit nose and a fresh black fruit on the palate.

The dessert menu had many temptations, we opted for the French Saint Honore, Caramelized Passion Fruit Cream Puffs, and Diplomate Cream. Also a "Bikini 1964" in homage to the first ever bikini being worn in the Molitor pool, with Coffee Eclair, Biscuit and Mascarpone Cream. Delectable desserts, a fitting end to a wonderfully pleasant evening.
