Hotel Splendide Royale Lugano can be found located overlooking lake Lugano in Switzerland. This hotel boasts it's original building, as well as an extended, newer building.
The hotel interiors are beautifully opulent, with grand furniture and fittings. It's traditional and impressive, we enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance.

The views from this hotel are simply incredible. With unrestricted views over lake Lugano, this is a very special location indeed.
Our suite was located inside the original building. If we were to come again, we would certainly prefer to be in the older part, as it holds such a wealth of character. We believe this is by far the better experience.
Our suite itself was very spacious, with full living and dining areas, as well as a separate sleeping quarter. We were very comfortable during our stay.
The staff at Hotel Splendide are a real credit to the hotel. Unobtrusive, yet attentive, we truly felt as though our every need was catered for at all times. Their approach was spot on, and we were impressed with how quickly they were able to make us feel welcome.
When it comes to restaurant options, Hotel Splendide has a fantastic restaurant called La Veranda. If you’re lucky enough to visit during the summer months, you can dine outside on the terrace, which is a very beautiful spot.
We certainly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Splendide Royale Lugano, and would definitely return. We would recommend that it is on your list to visit, whether that’s to stay, or simply to have a wander around, get something to eat and enjoy the views. It’s a special hotel that provides luxury hospitality at a high standard.
