Located in Beverly Hills, Ocean Prime is a steakhouse that offers guests the option to dine either inside or outside. Not being able to turn down the chance to dine outside and enjoy the views over Beverly Hills, we experienced their outdoor terrace.

They have spacious booths that come complete with overhead lights and heaters. We were very comfortable, the service was attentive, the menu was simple and the food was well executed. We have no hesitation to recommend this restaurant.

To start the evening we ordered a pre-dinner cocktail. I had the Cucumber Gimlet, which is made with Bombay Sapphire Gin, Muddled fresh Cucumber, and hand squeezed Lime.

Delivering a very refreshing hit. My partner had the Black Orchid, comprising of Belvedere Black Raspberry Vodka, St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur, hand squeezed Lemon and White Cranberry Juice. Equally as refreshing and enjoyable.

“We have no hesitation to recommend this restaurant.”

To begin, we ordered the impressive Smoking Shellfish Tower to share. A tower of deliciously fresh shellfish, served with Horseradish and Cocktail Sauces. I recommend this starter if you visit Ocean Prime, you won’t find fresher tasting shellfish.

With meat dishes in mind for our main courses we ordered a bottle wine that would complement this. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon Allomi Napa Valley. A rich, full bodied red wine. With notes of Vanilla, Oak Spice, and a subtle touch of Pepper.

For our main courses we decided on the 14 oz Filet Mignon, an incredibly tasty and tender cut cooked exactly how I specified. My partner ordered the 14 oz New York Strip, equally as delicious and tender. We finished off the dishes with sides of Parmesan Truffle Fries, Chophouse Corn, and Creamed Spinach. The parmesan truffle fries are an absolute must try.

We were full at this point and had to pass on dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience from start to finish, and would happily return in the future.
