Located in a perfect lunch spot in Larchmont Village, is Lemonade. They have deli style counters with a selection of hot food, seafood, and salads. Everything tastes nutritious, and will not leave you feeling hungry. If you crave something sugary, their lemonade is a must try. They have six flavours on offer, which are simply delicious.

We started by sampling a number of different salads from their marketplace vegetables. The choice included the Israeli Couscous with Wild Mushroom, Parmesan, and Lemon Truffle, which was every bit delicious as it sounds. We also sampled the Shaved Brussels Sprouts, Dates, Parmesan, and Capers. An Avocado, Cherry Tomato, Pine Nuts, and Lime salad. A salad prepared with Watermelon Radish, Seared Tuna, Snap Pea, and Ginger. A spicy salad with Tandoori Spiced Carrots, Orange Lentil, Chia Seed, and Almonds. And, finally a Bresaola, Shaved Pear, Fennel, Black Kale, Goat Cheese, and Hazelnut salad.

Next we sampled some dishes from the Hot Market Veggie counter. We decided on the Creamy Mashed Potatoes, which were light and delicious. We also sampled Sweet Corn, Kale, and Cheddar Cheese Soufflé. The soufflé is a must try, we really enjoyed this dish.

“The perfect place for a healthy light hearted lunch.”

Finally we sampled a couple of dishes from the Land and Sea counter. First up was the Citrus Poached Salmon Fillet. Which was a superb piece of Salmon in a fresh citrus flavour. We also sampled the Tuna Crudo, Chickpea, and Avocado dish. The Tuna was spot on, the perfect way to end an afternoon of great food.

Finally, with a name like Lemonade it would be rude not to sample their lemonade. We opted for the Old Fashioned and Blood Orange from their six flavours on offer. The Old Fashioned was perfection, I will never look at lemonade the same again. Lemonade is the perfect place for a healthy light hearted lunch.
