What is it? this restaurant is situated a few steps from the River Thames, this Southbank landmark now offers delicious, good value food served with style in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The food? I ventured in at lunch time to have a quick bite and I ordered the homemade veggie burger which comes with new potatoes and a fresh salad, not many places can master a good veggie burger, either that or they sell them pre-made, however the Arch 1 veggie burger is well worth returning for! this and a French onion soup to start with and a glass of wine all for £11.90 I think you would find this hard to beat for such quality.

The drinks? my second visit to Arch One allowed me to see the impressive list of cocktails, 1 of which was truly amazing this known as the 'Bubble Passion' made up of Camitz Sparkling Vodka, Vanilla Liqueur, Fresh Passion Fruit and Lemon Juice.

We like? the lively atmosphere of an evening, and the building be it under the exposed brick work or people watching from the balcony along with a Wimbledon cocktail.
