Who’d A Thought It can be found located in the rural outskirts of Kent. This is a guest house with a difference; upon arriving, it has the appearance of a local village pub, however once inside, you find a wealth of modern interior design.
“On the whole, we thought the room was comfortable and nicely designed.”
Once checked-in, we were shown to our suite, the Dom Ruinart suite, which is one of several tucked away at the rear of the building. Each suite is named after a different Champagne, and each one is individually styles. Dom Ruinart is a spacious suite with a lovely dark colour palette that is accented by various mood lighting option. A large black leather sofa is nestled in one corner, as well as an extremely comfortable bed. This suite also comes complete with an indoor Jacuzzi and an outdoor hot tub, which are great additions.
There were a couple of aspects to the room that we felt were a little distasteful, namely, the wall-mounted Christian Louboutins with empty bottles of Champagne. However, on the whole, we thought the room was comfortable and nicely designed.
Who’d A Thought It also offers a bar and restaurant in the main building, with the restaurant serving a varied menu. We sampled a couple of dishes during our stay, with the most notable being the homemade gnocchi which was a lovely dish.
Interestingly, there’s also a boutique at Who’d A Thought It that offers a range of clothing, shoes and accessories. If you’re looking for a few statement items for your wardrobe, then it’s worth poking your head in and having a look around.
If you do fancy checking out Who’d A Thought It, it’s worth looking at their midweek break special packages. The bed and breakfast itself is a very quirky place, offering modern interiors and interesting furnishings, to the point of almost being tongue-in-cheek. If you’re looking for a different, interesting and fun stay, then this is the place for you.
