The Kempinkski Hotel San Lawrenz is on Gozo island, Malta. Just a few minutes from both the harbour and the centre of the island, the hotel provides equal opportunity to explore the coast and the inland parts of the island.

Grand and exotic, the hotel creates the feeling of luxury accommodation before you have even set foot inside. Surrounded by palm trees, the grounds create a tropical feeling and create an enclosed paradise for guests.

The hotel interior is luxurious and stylish; lined with impressive fabrics, the marble-floored hotel is bright and inviting. The exotic theme is continued throughout, with a gold colour scheme and palm trees lining the high walls.

“The luxury spa provides a number of unique treatments and experiences, including the popular Oriental treatments.”

During our visit we stayed in a De Luxe Executive Suite. Lined with luxurious carpet, the suite had a very European feel, a nice contrast to the rest of the hotel. The suite had a separate living room area, which benefitted from a large flat-screen television and in-room hot drinks facilities.

Our suite afforded a balcony view of the sea and also overlooked the large and impressive hotel pool, which was particularly beautiful under the flood lights at night. Our bathroom was just as impressive as the rest of the room and included both a shower and a Jacuzzi.

Elsewhere, the hotel has equally impressive facilities. The luxury spa provides a number of unique treatments and experiences, including the popular Oriental treatments. The spa and fitness area also includes an indoor pool, tennis courts and aquaaerobics facilities.

The hotel’s dining facilities feature a number of restaurants, including the impressive garden restaurant. The hotel also provides many bars including the popular pool bar and a specialist wine bar.
