United Airlines London to Los Angeles Review

United Airlines London to Los Angeles Review

On our trip from Heathrow to LA this time, we decided to fly with United Airlines. We had heard good things about the airline, and although having never flown with them previously, we did have a relatively high expectation when we arrived at the airport.

On arrival, we decided to make good use of the Star Alliance Lounge, which, although isn’t as modern and spacious as others, still comes recommended by us if you’re one to enjoy sitting in a quiet space whilst waiting for your flight. We found the atmosphere to be relaxing, and our time there was most enjoyable.

“it’s nice to find an airline that has not compromised on the integral comfort of their guests.”

With soft drinks, coffee and alcohol all on offer for guests to enjoy, you can be sure that you will not go thirsty. And if you’re hungry, well, there was a good selection of hot food and pastries also on offer; which went down nicely whilst we waited for our flight.

We decided to fly economy plus for this journey. We did enjoy extra leg room, which we felt did make all the difference on an eleven hour flight, and were certainly glad of it come the last couple of hours.

I felt it was good value for money, and well worth paying a little extra if you are to be travelling on a long haul flight.

The airline crew were friendly. We felt well looked after throughout our travel, and were pleased to indulge in some light conversation with the stewards and stewardesses.

We would certainly recommend flying with United Airlines. With there being some quite stiff competition out there these days, it’s nice to find an airline that has not compromised on the integral comfort of their guests.
