Located in Cardiff city centre, the Hilton hotel stands proud as you enter the city. Having visited this hotel numerous times over the years, we were excited to be returning once again.

Upon arrival, our car doors were opened and our luggage was whisked off, before we were shown through to reception as our car was valet parked, valet parking it is a welcome service in a city centre such as Cardiff and we were more than happy to oblige. After a swift check-in we were soon being escorted on our way to the Presidential Suite on the seventh floor.

If you're looking for luxury in Cardiff then this suite will not disappoint. It's certainly not short of space and comes complete with a large open plan living area with huge floor to ceiling windows, offering pleasing views over Cardiff and the surrounding valleys. The living area includes huge sofas which are most comfortable, along with a large dining table and chairs. The bedroom sees a separate room just through from the living area, which is complete with a king size bed and flat screen television. The bedroom also offers the huge floor to ceiling windows; in fact, the windows run across the entire suite bringing in floods of natural light. The huge bathroom perhaps isn't the most luxurious, but it's definitely spacious and boasts a large corner whirlpool bath, a separate shower and his and hers wash basins.

“The Hilton is in the perfect location for exploring Cardiff and has everything you need for a short stay in the city.”

Those who experience one of the hotels Executive Rooms, or of course the Presidential Suite, have access to their private Executive Lounge which offers a nice quiet space for those looking to escape the bustle of the hotel. You will also find treats throughout the day at various times including breakfast, afternoon tea and canapés and alcohol early evening, which is a great way to begin your evening.

For those looking to keep fit, you can head to the Hilton’s well-equipped gym, and for those looking to relax you can enjoy a swim in their indoor pool. The Hilton is also home to their latest addition of the Grey restaurant which serves up an array of delightful British classics. The Hilton is in the perfect location for exploring Cardiff and has everything you need for a short stay in the city.

We were impressed once again with our stay and delighted to learn that this hotel still does not disappoint.
