“Colourful”, is probably the word we would use to describe 3.14 Hotel in Cannes. This hotel boasts a great location in Croisette of Cannes, and certainly offers something different to the norm! If you’re looking for an alternative experience in Cannes, then 3.14 is the place for you.

Each floor is a colourful representation of a different continent – America, Africa, Oceania, Europe and Asia. Differing in colour schemes, interior design, and style, the floors offer guests the opportunity to be transported across the world during their stay.

“We would recommend 3.14 to anyone who’s looking for a different experience”

During our stay, we experienced a suite on the Europe floor, which we thought would better suit the title, “Amsterdam” floor, since it felt a little like the red light district... Our suite was spacious, with low level lighting throughout. An open plan bedroom and bathroom leads to a separate lounge with mini balcony offering sea views. The interior design is very interesting, but wasn’t necessarily well kept; which is a shame.

Nevertheless, the location is great, and the hotel also boasts its own private beach. Unfortunately it was wet and windy throughout our visit, but if you’re lucky enough to stay when the sun is out, you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the beach.

We would recommend 3.14 to anyone who’s looking for a different experience in Cannes. Being huge fans of the Cannes atmosphere ourselves, we might look for somewhere a bit more traditional for our next Cannes stay.
