The Regent Hotel is located in the centre of Berlin, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt. This is a charming hotel, boasting a wealth of traditional character, which reflects its enviable location. When it comes to true five star luxury, the Regent Hotel truly ticks all the boxes, which is evident from even the very first glimpse of the building itself.

As we arrived at the hotel, our luggage was taken by a friendly porter and we are shown through to reception, where we were greeted as old friends and swiftly checked in with the level of efficiency one can only expect from such a hotel.

Following check-in, we were escorted to our Deluxe Room, a service we appreciate and expect from the finest of hotels. Our room offered a continuation from the rest of the hotel, echoing the beautiful, traditional décor found throughout.

“If you prefer a more traditional style hotel, then the Regent Hotel certainly will not disappoint.”

The room was spacious and wonderfully appointed, complete with its own balcony overlooking Gendarmenmarkt Square. The bedroom offers an extremely comfortable king size double bed with the most beautiful bed side lamps. The bathroom is also of a good size and comes complete with a separate bath and shower along with plenty of polished marble.

The hotel is also home to a lovely champagne terrace, which is the perfect way to start your evening if the sun happens to be shining. In terms of dining, you certainly will not be disappointed by the Regent’s Fischers Fritz restaurant that serves up fine cuisine and offers the most elegant of dining experiences.

For anyone looking to relax whilst away, the hotel also has a spa with a good selection of treatments available, along with a sauna which I certainly enjoyed before starting my day. Those looking to workout will also not be disappointed, as the Regent Hotel boasts a well equipped fitness room.

If you prefer a more traditional style hotel, then the Regent Hotel certainly will not disappoint. This hotel knows how to provide an elegant hospitality experience and the luxury of the setting was not lost on us. We would highly recommend this hotel for the wonderful experience as well as its fantastic location.
