The Hotel Concorde, Berlin is ideally located on the infamous Kurfürstendamm Boulevard in the very heart of the city. The hotel is part of the Concorde hotel collection, and having previously visited a couple of other hotels in the group, our expectations were high…

Unfortunately, the doormen seemed far from content, however, our experience certainly improved from there. Instead of waiting in the lobby, we were shown to the club lounge where we were checking in. The club lounge is the place where all guests staying on guest level are checked in, and when not being checked in, provides a great place to go during the day to enjoy a selection of drinks and canapés.

“We would stay again in a heartbeat.”

After check-in we were shown to our room, a deluxe suite, which was as equally impressive as the club lounge. We were very pleasantly surprised upon entering our suite – this is a room that means business.

The space consists of two bathrooms, a small kitchen complete with espresso machine, and a large open-plan lounge/dining area/meeting area, with large doors that allow you to separate off the bedroom, creating a more professional meeting area. The bedroom is very sizable and boasts a huge (almost too comfortable!) bed, and the bathrooms were equally as impressive. Also, around the room, stunning draping curtains cover 180 degrees of the space, creating a very chic feel.

The hotel boasts a good wellness area where you can find the fitness room full of state-of-the-art equipment, as well as a sauna, steam bath, plunge pool and solarium. It’s also well worth booking in a treatment during your stay, as the therapists are of a very high standard. If running’s your thing – try visiting the jogging helpdesk where you will be pointed in the right direction for a great local route.

If you’re looking for a hotel from which to explore Berlin, then you have come to the right place. Hotel Concorde is situated a stone’s throw from some major landmarks including the Kaiser-Wilheim-Memorial Church, which is well worth a visit and only 100m away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Concorde, Berlin and it comes highly recommended by us. We were glad to have had such a positive experience again of another Concorde property, although, not completely surprised. If it’s five-star luxury you’re looking for, you can never go wrong with a Concorde hotel, and Hotel Concorde, Berlin is certainly no exception. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
