Rustlers Rooste is a casual restaurant located across the road from the Grand Arizona Resort. There is a saloon theme to the furnishings, which is fun. Live country music, dancing, and a lively atmosphere. It’s family friendly, so expect to see children running around, and a busy environment.

You can enter the dining area from the slide if you’re feeling brave, or suitably intoxicated. I recommend you unbutton your collar, accept it for what it is, and join in with the spirit of the bar. The food and service is casual, the portions are generous and we didn’t experience a bad dish.

“We had a fun experience, and would happily return again.”

We decided to kick back and get into the spirit of things with a couple of pre-dinner cocktails. We had ‘The Clooney Margarita’, mixed with Casamigos Blanco, Grand Chevalier Orange Liqueur and fresh sweet and sour, it went down very easily. We also went with the ‘Mango Madness’, made with Rancho Alegre Reposado 100% Blue Agave, Tequila and refreshing Mango juice. Another delicious cocktail.

To begin we ordered the Jumbo Shrimp, with jumbo being the correct word. As well as a USDA Choice 9 oz. Followed by the ‘Tenderfoot’ Filet, a Cajun style 8 oz cut, seared and cooked in its own juices. Rustlers Rooste are proud of their meat cuts, and they are of high quality. We also had a ‘Rustler’s Cut’ 10 oz, one of their top Sirloin Steaks. It was absolutely superb, a huge cut of meat and very fulfilling. We had a side of Jumbo Baked Potatoes..

Mark West Pinot Noir wine crowned off the evening. We left near the end of the night, we could hear the live music and laughter carrying on as we exited. We had a fun experience, and would happily return again.
