La Maison Favart is a boutique hotel that can be found located in Opera, Paris. La Maison Favart looks impressive from the offset, with the building’s façade oozing Parisian style.

The hotel’s lobby area is small, but well designed, and after a quick check in we were shown to our duplex room on the top floor of the hotel.

“Friendly staff and comfortable interiors never fail to impress”

The duplex is situated in the roof of the building, and we were pleasantly surprised that it consisted of ample space. The interior design is impressive with a real highlight being the dark red velvet walls. The espresso machine is also a welcome addition.

The lower floor of the duplex consisted of a lounge area with a sofa and two armchairs, which unfortunately are more for show than anything else, since every time I went to sit down, I ended up banging my head. That being said, they still added an aesthetic quality to the room.

The upper level of the duplex consists of the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom is a particular joy, with a raised bath, level with one of the two impressive skylight windows that offer unrivalled views of Opera’s rooftops - the perfect place to relax.

La Maison Favart also boasts a small fitness centre and plunge pool in the basement, which is ideal for a bit of leisure following a day exploring the delights of Paris.

We would certainly recommend La Maison Favart as the ideal location for a short break, however, if you are on the taller side, it might be preferential to opt for a standard room, else you may suffer from a stiff back from avoiding the roof!

All in all, we had a lovely stay - friendly staff and comfortable interiors never fail to impress, and for that reason we would certainly return in the future.
