Graphic Bar is situated in Golden Square in London’s Soho area. Graphic Bar is certainly a hotspot worth checking out. Showcasing a range of live music, this place provides an exciting atmosphere, and is a great place to pop in for a few drinks.
One of the draws to Graphic Bar for us, is the fact that it houses one of the biggest collections of gin in the UK, freaturing over 180 different bottles. As well as an intriguing gin and tonic menu, Graphic Bar also boasts an exciting cocktail menu.
From their ‘Graphic & Tonic’ menu, we opted to try the Hendricks gin with Britvic tonic, which according to the menu ‘sweetens the spicy character and lifts the floral notes’ of the Hendricks gin. We also went for a Junipero gin and Fentimans tonic - ‘sherbert-like flavours of Fentimans tonic stand up to the formidably juniper dominant gin.’
“These are drinks worth going out of your way for.”
From Graphic Bar’s Graphic Flavours menu, we opted for:
Candy Floss Fizz - a blend of Chase Limited Edition Rhubarb vodka, a dash of Aperol, Tillman's organic rhubarb cordial, fresh lemon juice and egg white, topped with prosecco.
Passion Fruit Punch - Havana Club Especial golden rum, Angostura bitters, fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, fresh passion fruit and passion fruit syrup.
And finally, from Graphic Bar’s ‘Paint Tin Punch’ menu, we tried:
Green - Hendricks gin, fresh mint and cucumber, fresh lemon juice, lemon bitters and pressed apple juice.
Pink - Bombay Sapphire gin, Bricottet apricot liqueur, peach bitters, fresh lime juice, pomegranate syrup and Fever-Tree lemonade.
The gin and tonics were a definite highlight for us, but the cocktails were also delicious. Great flavours, high-end spirits and expertly made – these are drinks worth going out of your way for.
We would thoroughly recommend checking out Graphic Bar if you’re in Soho, it’s fun, lively and aside from the excellent drinks, they also offer a slider menu that looks incredible. We will be returning.
