The Rocco Forte hotel, the Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt is a 5-star venue that greets you warmly and does everything it can to make you feel welcome. The location is excellent if you prefer a quiet stay rather than a bustling one. It’s outside the city in a residential area, meaning a short walk to the centre.

The exterior is all historic German, with square everything and a grey pitched roof. It sits well in its location and is exactly what you would expect while here. Inside is another matter. The hotel continues the Rocco Forte theme of taking old buildings and merging them seamlessly with the modern.

The lobby is large, with pastel coloured walls, big windows and lots of light. Receptionists sit at a glass table with a laptop and check you in. We were quickly shown to our Deluxe Suite and left to our own devices.

“The Villa Kennedy reflects the Rocco Forte values in every way.”

The suite was a good size with a large bed, sitting area and good sized bathroom. The bed was king size and lovely and comfortable. The suite had a courtyard outlook which was nice, it meant the room felt like a little oasis in the city. The décor is modern, light and comfortable all at the same time. We felt at ease as soon as we walked in the door.

The seating area had a sofa, chairs and a coffee table and there was also a dining table too. The bathroom was finished in marble and had lovely heated flooring. It also had a bath, separate double shower and twin basins. Everything was in excellent condition and completely clean.

The rest of the hotel had equally high standards, with nice public areas, a fully-featured spa, a nice gym and a restaurant called Gusto. To our mind, it reflects the Rocco Forte values in every way.

Our time at the Villa Kennedy Hotel was entirely positive. The staff were helpful, the room was nicely furnished and the service was superb. The location was lovely and quiet and only a short journey into town. We would happily visit here again.
