One of the most experienced and talented individuals working in the hospitality industry today, Caroline has played an integral part in the launch of not only China Tang, but two other of the capital’s most influential and groundbreaking venues.
Caroline began her career in Sydney working for the late Len Evans, one of the founding fathers of the modern Australian wine industry.
Returning to London in 1991 she worked at Harvey Nichols to assist with the opening of its new Fifth Floor concept. Caroline would spend a little over five years at the Fifth Floor.
In September 1996, Harvey Nichols launched its first standalone restaurant in London, the Oxo Tower, and appointed Caroline as General Manager. Over the next nine years, the Bar & Brasserie would become one of London's key top dining destinations. |
