The Cabana Cafe can be found inside the glamorous Beverly Hills Hotel. We have visited this hotel numerous times over the years, and have yet to leave disappointed in any way. You may have guessed from the name that the Cabana Cafe offers a casual style dining experience. But it's much more than that.

There is an outdoor swimming pool that offers a great location to have lunch, it's a fun and happening atmosphere, and there are plenty of helpful staff on hand taking care of each table.

After browsing their wine list we opted for a bottle of Cloudy Bay, Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand, 2014. A wine with a fresh and tropical flavour, packed with herbal notes and a nice medium body. Very enjoyable, and certainly an easy bottle to finish during the afternoon.

"It has some interesting surroundings, and the food was superb."

After browsing the menu we were both settled on the same dishes, they were too appealing not to. To begin we had the Tuna Tartare with Avocado, Chives, Radish, Lemon Pepper Emulsion, and Toast Points. A wonderfully presented dish, with an eclectic blend of flavours that all complimented each other.

To follow we ordered the McCarthy Salad. Again, it was a well presented dish, and tasted as good as it looked. It was prepared with Romaine, Organic Chicken, Eggs, Roasted Beets, Bacon, Avocado, Cheddar, Tomatoes, with a Balsamic Vinaigrette drizzle. Many people pass over salads in favour of a more filling option while dining out, but I have to recommend anyone visiting Cabana Cafe samples this dish.

If you're looking for a fun, healthy, casual dining experience, Cabana Cafe is well worth a visit. It has some interesting surroundings, and the food was superb.
