The Blvd restaurant is located in the world renowned Beverly Wilshire by Four Seasons. They offer seating inside and outside. The outside seating on the terrace allows you to look over Rodeo Drive, however, we opted to dine inside during our visit. There is a wealth of history and character to the building and we enjoyed taking in the atmosphere. The service was faultless as you would expect from such as establishment, and the menu was delightful and elegantly presented.
We started our evening with a couple of glasses of Moët & Chandon, Rose Imperial as our aperitif. We then ordered our starters. I ordered the Classic Tuna Tartare, served with Avocado, Ponzu, and a Soy Vinaigrette. A simple dish, but well executed. My partner ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella Panna Cotta, served with Semi-dried Tomato and Balsamic Pearls. Another superb dish, a great start to the evening.
“A must visit if you are in the Beverly Hills area.”
For our main dishes, I decided on the Sea Bream, with Braised Artichokes, Sautéed Mushrooms and Porcini Puree. I can’t find a bad word to say about this dish, the Sea Bream was incredible. My partner ordered the Filet Mignon, with Spinach Savarin, Goat Cheese Gratin Potato, served with a Red Wine Jus. The filet was spot on, seared and seasoned just right.
To complete our evening, we ordered the Valrhona Chocolate Coconut Dacquoise. A Coconut Sponge Layered with Chocolate Ganache, Passion Fruit Cremeux and Coconut Sorbet. I enjoyed how the flavours worked together in this dessert, the Coconut works really well with the Passion Fruit. My partner ordered the Chocolate Experience, a Sacher Torte, with Warm Fondant, Vanilla Ice Cream, Peanut Milk Chocolate Parfait and Crème Brulee.
We rounded our enjoyable evening of dining off with a bottle of Summerland, Santa Barbara, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2013. A bold, black fruit wine with strong aromatic notes. Blvd is a must visit if you are in the Beverly Hills area.
