There are few things more quintessentially British than taking to the countryside on a hot summer's day and enjoying a picnic. The only way to elevate this experience a notch is to take a luxury picnic hamper, and picnic hampers do not come more luxurious and functional than the Eaton Picnic Hamper range. Eaton Hampers and Basketware are a small family run business specialising in high-quality basketry and hampers, they have a gorgeous range of products and each item is finished to a high-standard.

We were able to take our Eaton Picnic Hamper and put it to test during a trip to the beautiful Brecon Beacons. The Brecon Beacons is one of the best areas in Wales to enjoy unspoilt scenery and on a clear day you can see as far as the eye will allow. The perfect place to enjoy a picnic, and we found a beautiful spot not far from one of the famous waterfalls and indulged in a fantastic feast.

“A great example of British craftsmanship at its finest.”

It’s evident a great deal of thought and planning has gone into designing this hamper, it held everything we could desire and more. The hamper is made from high-quality willow with leather fastenings, so you can rest assured it’s built to last. It came complete with a chiller bag, 4 China plates, cutlery, 4 wine glasses, a picnic blanket, bottle opener, 4 napkins, a bottle stop, and a chopping board. There was also a good size rug which comes in matching tartan in-line with the theme of the hamper.

The hamper is deceivingly large, it’s holding capacity is more than adequate for four people and is a great example of British craftsmanship at its finest. We have the grey tartan design and have to say it looks fabulous. If you’re in the market for a new hamper it shouldn’t be a difficult decision, Eaton Picnic Hampers are fantastic.
