Abode Chester is a striking circular glass structure that stands proud in the heart of Chester. It’s set in the perfect location with easy access by car or train. Within a few minutes of the hotel you can visit most of the iconic Chester tourist attractions, or visit one of the UK’s largest shopping outlets if that’s more your style.
During our visit we experienced an aptly named ‘Desirable’ room. The room was spacious, with a roll-top bath in the bedroom area and a separate bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Our room was rear facing, however there are some rooms with views over Chester Race Course which will be most enjoyable on race day. The room also had complimentary WiFi, air conditioning, and tea and coffee making facilities. The décor was modern and reasonably stylish.
“A touch of modern charm to such a historic town.”
The hotel also has a good sized gym for those who enjoy an early morning workout, and is also home to Michael Cains restaurant. The hotel has its own car park underneath the hotel making it easy and convenient to visit by car. The location is excellent for exploring the wonderful city of Chester, you can walk into the historic town centre within a few minutes, or Chester Zoo is just a short drive away.
Abode Chester is a wonderful hotel and does a great job of bringing a welcome touch of modern charm to such a historic town as Chester. The staff looked after us very well and are knowledgeable about the local area if it’s your first time visiting. We don’t have a bad word to say about our experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return again.
