    The Big Feastival 2022

    22 September, 2022
    big festival 2022

The Big Feastival is one of the most anticipated family events in the UK, combining family fun, food and music. Held every summer on the farm of Blur bassist Alex James, the festival is extremely popular and should be marked in the calendar for a great weekend with family and friends.

This weekend festival is a must-visit for anyone who adores food and music, bringing together fantastic chefs, musicians and food vendors to create a great experience in the sunshine. There is something for absolutely everyone at the Big Feastival.

The event held in the summer attracts some of the best chefs, who conduct interactive cooking sessions, masterclasses and live demonstrations for the guests to be engaged, inspired and educated on the art of cooking - from learning how to make their favourite dishes to discovering new and exciting ingredients and techniques.

In addition to all the live cooking sessions, the Big Feastival offers a wide selection of street vendors and pop-up restaurants that cater to all tastes and preferences - including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free, which is excellent for us as we all have such different tastes when it comes to food!

"With a wide range of activities, performances, and culinary delights, there is truly something for everyone at The Big Feastival."

All the dishes taste amazing due to the fresh ingredients being used; you can tell that each chef and vendor has a natural talent for cooking good food, from classic Italian pizzas, fresh pasta, Thai street food and everything else in between, the aroma of fresh food wafts through the festival grounds, enticing all the visitors to indulge in their favourite dishes.

Apart from food, the festival also features an impressive line-up of musicians and performers; the event has previously hosted some of the biggest names within the music industry, including Paloma Faith, Craig David and the Clean Bandit. 2022 included the likes of Sugababes, The Human League, DJ Spoony, with a couple of personal favourites including the House Gospel Choir and the Cuban Brothers. All the performances take place on multiple stages across the farm throughout the weekend and provide a variety of musical genres to listen to, from pop, rock, indie, jazz and blues.

And the best part, The Big Feastival offers a range of family-friendly activities in the dedicated children's zone, where kids can participate in workshops, games and activities - ensuring that the kids are kept busy, safe and entertained, creating a fun, vibrant atmosphere for both kids and adults, which is excellent ... even Andy and the oddsocks were playing (if you have kids, you know this is a big deal!) with giant inflatables bouncing in the air that the kids loved. So I can confidently say that both parents and kids were having fun, which was great!

The festival is held in the picturesque Cotswolds countryside, providing a scenic backdrop for the event. The festival grounds are beautifully decorated, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. There are also various market stalls selling artisanal products and souvenirs.

In conclusion, The Big Feastival is a unique and exciting festival with a beautiful combination of food, music, and family fun. The event has become one of the UK's most popular festivals, attracting visitors from all over the world. The festival provides an excellent opportunity for foodies, music lovers, and families to come together and enjoy a memorable weekend of entertainment. With a wide range of activities, performances, and culinary delights, there is truly something for everyone at The Big Feastival.
