    Flybe, Birmingham to Paris Review

    Flybe, Birmingham to Paris Review

On a recent trip to Paris, we were flying from Birmingham Airport, and we chose to fly with the airline Flybe. Flybe have an excellent stronghold at Birmingham Airport, so we were spoilt for choice when it came to selecting an appropriate travel date and time.

Although not an airport we have used to a great extent previously, it is certainly worth considering flying from Birmingham Airport. Due its location and size, it offers a much more relaxed travelling experience than many of the larger London airports, and we were grateful for this for our relaxing trip to Paris.

Flybe is in fact the largest independent regional airline in Europe, which was news to us. They actually operate more domestic flights in the UK than any other airline, and we’ll certainly be remembering that for our next UK based journey.

“Every single aspect made us feel completely at ease.”

The actual Flybe experience was fairly intimate, and our plane was a lot smaller than we are used to. Although this might seem intimidating to some, it is in fact a great positive if you happen to be travelling as a couple as seats are in sets of twos, which allows no room for any mystery travellers attempting to share your arm space.

We were very impressed by the way Flybe made everything feel like a breeze. We were especially grateful for the speedy boarding, and we found there were no huge queues of travellers fighting to get on board, which is a massive bonus in our books. Travelling can be stressful at the best of times, but at no point did we feel flustered whilst travelling with Flybe, which made a refreshing change.

The Flybe cabin crew were also extremely friendly and helpful, and we got the impression that they enjoyed working for the airline. The flight time to Paris is short so there is little time in the air, and not too long on-board; but the time we did spend on the plane was an absolute pleasure and we would not hesitate with take this route with Flybe in the future.

We were so impressed flying with Flybe that we will be looking to plan another trip with them in the not too distant future. Flybe, combined with the tranquillity of Birmingham Airport, makes for a very stress-free travel experience, and we would also recommend this combination for anyone who may have a fear of flying, as every single aspect made us feel completely at ease.

Flybe operates flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle from Birmingham up to three times daily. Prices start from £39.99 one way, including all taxes and charges. Visit www.flybe.com to book.
