    Plaza Premium Lounge, Heathrow Review

    Plaza Premium Lounge, Heathrow Review

The Plaza Premium Lounge is located at Terminal 2 Departures in London’s Heathrow Airport. The lounge features a spacious area for travellers to relax and enjoy some impressive facilities while passing through Heathrow, as well as private suites with comfy beds and showers for those with a longer stay in-between flights.

In our eyes, the goal of any airport lounge should be to provide a kind of utopia that helps us escape from the bustle of busy travellers rushing for flights, the sounds of airport tannoys, trolleys, and such, and the general confusion that comes with being in one of the biggest and busiest airports in the world.

We’re happy to say that the Plaza Premium Lounge does exactly that, and we had the most enjoyable and rejuvenating stay during our recent travels. Their range of beverages and fresh food options were delicious and provided a welcome respite.

“We had the most enjoyable and rejuvenating stay in the Plaza Premium Lounge.”

There is a range of other features to take advantage of while stopping in the lounge that caters well for both short and long stays. You can recharge your devices and catch up on some work while enjoying a drink and something to eat while waiting for a connecting flight. Or, if relaxation after a long flight is higher on your agenda, why not check out their spa, massage, and wellness facilities that are sure to rejuvenate the most weary of travellers.

It’s easy to see why the Plaza has been awarded the SKYTRAX award for the World’s Best Independent Airport Lounge. The facilities are excellent, the lounge is spacious, clean, and well designed, and the staff made us feel welcome the moment we stepped foot into the lounge. They made sure our every need was taken care of with an attentive, and friendly approach while maintaining a smile. Something I’m sure you’ll agree goes a long way after a long flight.

There is no other lounge we’d rather stay in when stopping or passing through Heathrow Airport. We highly recommend the Plaza Premium Lounge, and don't doubt your experience will match ours.
