Wrath - What makes you angry about the hospitality industry?
When I don’t like the food I have ordered. I used to be someone who would never complain in a restaurant but now if the food isn’t good I will say something (in a polite way of course). Also I used to be a waitress and the rudeness of some people really shocked me so being polite to waiters and waitresses is very important to me. How hard is it to say thank you?!
Greed - If all your travel fantasies came true where would we find you?
ANYWHERE where there is sun, I am a typical sun chaser as let’s be honest, the sun makes everyone happier. In an ideal world I would be living in Australia because I have lived there before and I love the lifestyle there but I just think I would miss my family too much which is kind of pathetic. I am 30 years old you know?
Sloth - What do you do to unwind?
What I am doing right now as I write this. Watching a crime drama (Marcella is current fave), in my lounge with candles lit. That it is, plain and simple yet utterly amazing. Also I am not opposed to the occasional massage, although they’re not quite as cheap as they were in Thailand when I was there at NYE, I honestly got about 5 a day there (I am exaggerating, I got 2).
Pride - What are you most proud of?
Probably myself, I had an extremely tough year last year and the fact that I got through it and am still smiling is such an incredible feat. Also getting 2 shows commissioned by Channel 4, it’s blimen hard to get a show commissioned these days so I think I did pretty good (even if it did take a whole year…the tv industry ain’t the quickest).
Lust - Is there anything that you are still lusting to achieve?
I am a typical Gemini, I am always achieving and always striving. When I set myself a goal, I get it and then I look to the next thing. It’s awesome and exhausting at the same time. I’d love to get a show commissioned on TV, that’s probably my next big goal. Oh and have the guts to move to Australia at some point.
Envy - who are you most envious of?
I don’t like envy or jealousy, they are horrible traits. Sometimes I am jealous of travel bloggers I guess who get paid to travel the world and then just rub it in our faces all over Instagram. It stresses me out with how little of the world I have seen, it’s so blimen big. Next on my list is South America, who wants to pay me to go there? Any takers?
Gluttony - have you ever over indulged?
ALWAYS! Myself and my sisters don’t look like the kind of girls to over indulge but my god we do! We can out eat most men I reckon. At university I lived with a group of guys and I challenged them to a fish and chips eating competition. Guess who won? They were actually disgusted with how much I ate, I thought they’d be impressed. Note to self- don’t do a food challenge with men, they don’t find it sexy apparently.
