Giardinio Mountain is a boutique hotel in Chamfer, which is just ten minutes from St. Moritz. It's a small and intimate hotel, but big on comforts and hospitality. If you're looking for an alternative to the traditional ski-resort hotels, then this is a perfect choice. You still have all the skiing related activities within a short distance, but it’s also an escape if you want to distance yourself from it.

We experienced one of their Junior Suites. The suite was on the smaller side of what we have come to expect from Junior Suites, but the decor and furnishings were finished to a high standard. The suite has been well maintained, and a lot of the furnishings felt new. There was certainly a strong Swiss design influence too, giving the room a modern, smooth look.

    “Stunning views all round.”

The bathroom had a beautiful bath, forming an impressive focal point of the room. There was a sense of luxury ever-present throughout the suite. The suite had a terrace too, which offers the opportunity for some stunning views, and a clam and relaxing place to have a quiet evening drink.

There are a few restaurants at the hotel, and Ristorante Guardalej is certainly worth a visit. There is a spa on the hotel grounds, a huge gym, and stunning views all round as you would expect from the Swiss mountains. The staff are all dressed in Swiss attire and are always on hand with a friendly smile, it’s a joy walking around the hotel and passing staff as you come and go.

We were well looked after and very impressed with the hotel as a whole. Regardless of the time of year, we would happily stay here again.
