Situated in an unbeatable location, just a few steps away from Avenue Montaigne and in the 'Golden Triangle' is La Tremoille. A luxury hotel in Paris that has been open since 1925.

It's just steps away from shops from designer shops like Prada, Chanel and Dior. As well as a short journey from famous monuments like the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe. You couldn't ask for a better location with more to do, perfect for a weekend escape.

It has been refurbished a lot over the years, and in fact had been recently refurbished when we stayed. During our visit we experienced the Louis Armstrong suite, a spacious and elegantly decorated suite. The styling of the rooms is a 1930's Paris glamour, paying homage to the era when the hotel first opened and giving way to the elegance and luxury that was enjoyed by the upper-class then.

"We enjoyed our stay, and the location made it easy to explore Paris."

Our suite has a large living area, large bedroom, bathroom, and a small balcony overlooking the Parisian streets below, a perfect setting to enjoy a glass of wine and people watch. The suite itself didn't have any connection to Louis Armstrong, so we have no idea why it was named so.

But it was nicely designed nevertheless. There is a minimalist feel but that was fine, it was very fitting with the overall feel of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay, and the location made it easy to explore Paris. The hotel has a spa and sauna to help you unwind after a busy day shopping.

I would recommend La Tremoille and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when visiting Paris. Having such affluent shopping opportunities, and iconic French monuments nearby really makes this a special place to stay.
