Salon de Ning is a stylish rooftop bar located in the Peninsula hotel, New York. Located in midtown Manhattan, with glorious views over Fifth Avenue, this 23rd floor bar is one of the coolest places to be seen in the city.
During our visit, we were very pleased to experience on of the best tables the bar had to offer, with stunning views at night down to Fifth Avenue. It was a seriously breathtaking location.
We were also very impressed with the extensive cocktail list and wasted no time getting to work on sampling a few. Here are the cocktails we experienced:
A Passion Martini – a fantastic blend of Grey Goose L’Orange, Crème de Peche, Fresh Passion Fruit and orange and cranberry juices.
A “Cool as a Cucumber” - an amazingly refreshing combination of Crop Organic Cucumber and Vodka, served extra cold and garnished with cucumber slices.
A Madame Ning’s Martini – delicious Farmer’s Organic Gin shaken cold, and served with lemongrass.
A Big Pear Martini – a mouth-watering combination of Absolut Pears, St Germain and Grapefruit Juice.

Each of the cocktails we samples was expertly prepared by the talented bar staff at Salon de Ning, who are an absolute credit to the bar. In fact, all the staff that we experienced were very friendly and helpful, and made our experience that little bit more enjoyable.
We were blown away with our experience of Salon de Ning. The atmosphere is simply incredible, and the views really are something to behold. Everything was beautiful and we simply cannot recommend this bar highly enough. Testament to which is the fact that I simply did not want to leave, and I would be back in a heartbeat. Salon de Ning is well worth a visit to experience something truly special in New York. I can’t wait to return.
