HelloFresh is a very convenient food delivery service, It offers those who are not so confident in the kitchen the ability to make amazing meals at home, and those who enjoy cooking to experience new dishes they may have not yet discovered. Having all the ingredients delivered to your doorstep with all the instructions included to deliver great dishes any day of the week makes for a very simple and effective service.

The user journey is remarkably simple, via the interface, you’re able to customise your order to your preference, as it allows you to select the amount of recipes you would like to receive each week – three or five - as well as the amount of people you’d like to cook for. They also allow you to cater for dietary preferences as you’re able to choose from a vegetarian box, the family box, and the classic box.

Conveniently, you are also able to select your preferred day for delivery each week – meaning you’ll always know when to expect your box. Each meal comes packed in its own bag, along with a recipe card which tells you all the ingredients and instructions to create your perfect dish.

“It allows for creativity in the kitchen, whilst taking the pressure out of constantly coming up with creative ideas for meals.”

We chose to sample the classic box, and so far our recipes have been varied each week and have been a joy to cook and enjoy. The HelloFresh menus are seasonal and well planned, to cater for all occasions. On Pancake Day for example, we enjoyed making chickpea pancakes with Cajun chicken and sweetcorn salsa, which was actually a personal favourite, and we have since cooked this several times over.

Another highlight was the Iranian lamb stew with fluffy rice. Being completely honest, to date we have not had a bad dish. Of course this comes down to personal preference, but I can honestly say we have been impressed each week by the choice of recipes and the quality of the ingredients. Everything is remarkably fresh and full of flavour.

It is also important to note that the recipes HelloFresh chooses are quick and simple and even the least confident of chefs would be able to follow the simple instructions to make a great dish. Even if you work full time, these recipes allow for short cooking times, and can be easily prepared in an evening.

We would thoroughly recommend HelloFresh as a great service for those who want to produce high quality meals quickly and conveniently. It allows for creativity in the kitchen, whilst taking the pressure out of constantly coming up with creative ideas for meals.
