Estiatorio Milos is located inside the wonderful Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Estiatorio Milos offers superb Greek cuisine, and after visiting Estiatorio Milos in London and having a wonderful experience we were excited to try their Las Vegas restaurant. It’s full of life and the decor is crisp, clean, and white. We had one of the booth-style tables which offer views across the entire restaurant. The best part of the Milos concept is the fish counter, here you can select your catch, and having the visual and story of the fish you will be served is much more awe inspiring than just a written menu.

We started our evening with an aperitif, two glasses of Moschofilero, Ktima Tselepos, Amalia, Brut, Arcadia, Greece. An elegant and light sparkling wine with plenty of floral aromas.

To begin I ordered the Calamari, this dish was Fresh, Lightly Fried Squid with Red Onion and Parsley. The seafood at Milos is outstanding and this dish is a fine example of the fresh seafood they offer. My partner decided to order the Shetland Island Organic Salmon, served with Fresno Chili, Shallot, and Cilantro. This piece of Salmon was superb, and the Fresno Chili accompanied this perfectly.

“Choosing your own fish from their fresh counter makes for a memorable experience.”

Moving on to our main course I ordered the Filet Mignon, served with Greek fried Potatoes. The Filet was a prime cut of Beef Tenderloin, and the fried Potatoes were authentically enjoyable. My partner decided on the Whole Dorado Royale, prepared table-side and personally selected by myself and priced by the pound. It’s incredibly fulfilling to select your own fish and see it prepared, the results was absolutely superb. We added sides of Baby Beets, Steamed with the Real Greek Mint Yogurt, and Htipiti, Roasted Red Pepper and Barrel-Aged Feta Cheese.

Our chosen wine for the evening was a bottle of 2012, Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California. A dark red wine with hints of black fruits, coffee and vanilla. Our experiences at Estiatorio Milos have always been rewarding, the food is exceptional, and the personal touch when choosing your own fish from their fresh counter makes for a memorable experience.
