East Hotel is a fantastic design hotel located right in the heart of Hamburg city center. A lot of design hotels can be significantly underwhelming, however this is not the case with East Hotel; and it certainly proved worthy of the title from the moment we arrived.

“East Hotel is certainly a very cool place to be.”

Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our suite - the Aqua Large Suite. Located on the ground floor, this suite boasts its own private patio area. The suite itself is spacious, and comes complete with a Jacuzzi. We were very comfortable in the room, and in particular, the water bed was extremely welcoming.

Conveniently, the hotel offers on site parking, which makes it a great hotel for business travelers, or anyone who wishes to take their own transport for exploration. Hamburg itself is a wonderful place, and this hotel is ideally located for those who wish to make the most of the city’s sights. However, having the option to take a car makes exploration a little further afield plausible, also; which is an excellent opportunity - and one we would recommend making the most of.

East Hotel is also home to a great restaurant called Gusto - which is well worth making a reservation at during your stay. In addition, there are four bars and lounges - Yakshi’s Bar, the Bacardi Lounge, the Bombay Lounce, and Dedon Island. This hotel also boasts it’s own event venue turn nightclub, which hosts excellent club nights, and can be hired out for exclusive events. East Hotel is certainly a very cool place to be.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at East Hotel, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish hotel in the centre of Hamburg. We will certainly look to return, and hopefully not in the too distant future.
