If you’re looking for a good cocktail in Copenhagen - you need look no further than Lidkoeb. ‘City chic’ is certainly a phrase which springs to mind, with a super-cool atmosphere, and excellent, well make cocktails - this really is a great place to be.

Big wooden tables offer a stylish place to relax. We sat down upon arrival, and spent time carefully selecting the cocktails we wanted to sample.

“The relaxed, yet buzzy atmosphere immediately draws you in.”

We didn’t have long in Lidkoeb, unfortunately, so we decided to try and make the most out of our visit. We ordered some snacks to sample alongside our cocktails, which included a wonderful cheese board, full of local cheeses, as well as a selection of local sausages. These platters come well recommended by us - so be sure to look out for them on the menu if you’re lucky enough to stop by.

The cocktails we chose included the Den Obligatoriske Kaffee Cocktail - which included bourbon as the base, beerign kaffeliker, campari and espresso. This cocktail was a beautiful blend of sweet and bitter flavours, and we were thoroughly impressed by the flavour combination.

The second cocktail we sampled was the Tigermilk, which saw a blend of gin, maraschino liqueur and kaffeliker, served shaken over ice. The Tigermilk was probably our favourite cocktail of the two, offering a fruity twist to a simply gin cocktail.

We would certainly recommend checking out Lidkoeb if you’re in the area. The relaxed, yet buzzy atmosphere immediately draws you in, and we were disappointed that we weren’t able to stay longer. If you’re in the area and able to visit, we recommend you take the time to do so - it would have been great to have been able to sample a few more cocktails, and they were truly, very well made, and certainly left us wanting more.
