Located inside Mirama Beach Club Hotel is Bistrot M. The hotel offers a wide range of pleasures, and Bistrot M lives up to the standard set by the hotel.

After being shown to our table, we started off with a couple of glasses of Laurent Perrier as an Aperitif. A lovely rose champagne with a smooth, delicious, aromatic character.

The restaurant has unrestricted views over the ocean which are unbeatable, it makes for a wonderful restaurant experience. In my opinion the name Bistrot M portrays a certain image, an image that is slightly underwhelming to what the experience is actually like. From the service to the cuisine, our whole dining experience was faultless.

To begin we ordered the Pumpkin Velouté with Whipped Cream and Black Truffles, a delicious and endulgent dish. The combination of pumpkin with black truffle is perfect marriage. It was paired with a glass of Domaine de la Maurette, 2012, a crisp and refreshing flavour. We also had the Lobe of Foie Gras Confit with its Balsamic Onion Compote, a strong flavoured dish and very enjoyable. Paired with a glass of Domaine du Jas d'Escians, Cuvee Tradition, 2012.

"The food and service was faultless."

For our main course we decided on the Rocher-style Creamy Risotto and Winter Truffles, I was more than impressed with the truffles. The presentation of this dish was stunning, and the flavours were super. I had a glass of Domaine de Rimauresq, Cuvee R, 2010, an enjoyable wine with a strong nose and fruity kick. My partner had the Nice Casserole-style Beef and Glazed Carrots, the beef was superb and incredibly tender and flavoursome. The chosen wine was a glass of Domaine du Jas d'Escians, Cuvee Tradition, 2012, another wine from the Domaine region. Fruity and flavoursome, very enjoyable.

Every day the Pastry Chef creates a selection of desserts based on the best products offered on the market. This means fresh ingredients locally procured, handmade and immaculately presented. During our visit we shared an impressive selection of local Cheeses, accompanied by a choice of Breads, Crackers and delicious Chutney. This was a joy to eat accompanied by a couple of glasses of Muscat de Beaumes de Venise. An exceptional dessert wine, and a wonderful end to a superb evening of dining.

If you're a guest at the Mirama Beach Club Hotel you absolutely have to spend an evening at Bistrot M. You will not be disappointed, the food and service was faultless.
