The Villas of Byron is quite simply the definition of luxury, it’s faultless on every level. The interior design is incredible, we were blown away by the attention to detail and the thought that has gone into the design throughout the whole complex.

After parking and being greeted we stepped across the stepping stones over the pond which leads to the front door. As we entered we heard wind pipes and picked up a beautiful scent, I felt more like we had just arrived at a secluded retreat in Bali rather than a villa just a few minutes away from Byron Bay.

We experienced a two bedroom Grand Villa, and indeed it was grand. The lounge area was very spacious, it’s open plan with two large sofas being the focal point. You could probably fit six people comfortably on each sofa.

“Without doubt The Villas of Bryon Bay is nothing short of luxurious.”

Jean Paul Gaultier and Vogue books are present on the coffee table. The lounge leads through to an open plan kitchen, which is simply beautiful in design and has everything you could possibly wish for. All tidily and intelligently hidden from eyesight, yet easily found when needed. We were very impressed with the layout. There was also a small room with washing facilities.

The two bedrooms were slightly different in size and design, one offered views over our private swimming pool so we decided to sleep in this one. Both bedrooms have ensuite, and both have a separate bath and shower, and both have their own private outdoor shower which was a joy to experience. One of the bedrooms had a beautiful four poster bed with draped fabric, it also had a small walk-in wardrobe, which was perfect to store our luggage. The bathroom had his and hers wash basins and a very comfortable bath, which was surrounded by candles and provided a relaxing retreat in the evenings.

The absolute highlight has to be the outdoor space which was home to our own private heated swimming pool with a heated Jacuzzi in the far corner of the pool. It really was a beautiful space to relax and enjoy the surroundings with a glass of champagne. The swimming pool illuminates at night, and the whole terrace lights up beautifully. If this wasn’t enough, there was a rainforest button which was a pleasant surprise. When pressed the surrounding forest behind the swimming pool is flood lit.

The word luxurious is used quite loosely these days, but without doubt The Villas of Bryon Bay is nothing short of luxurious.
