There are two Jurys Inn hotels in Brighton, and on a recent trip to this wonderful seaside town, we were staying at their city centre location. The beauty about this hotel is that it is located in Brighton’s New England Quarter, and is conveniently placed right next to the train station and only a short walk from the sea front. The Brighton Dome is just a ten minute walk, making this location great for either business or leisure.

Upon arrival we were quick to note the sharp and quirky reception area which held our intrigue. We were greeted warmly by a friendly member of the reception team before being checked-in and shown on our way to our room. During this visit we experienced one of Jury’s Inn’s Deluxe Rooms, which is one of 234 rooms in total.

The room itself was rather spacious and clean cut in design. In terms of facilities, the room offered a powerful air conditioning unit as well as a wall mounted flat screen television and a small desk for anyone looking to catch up on some work. The bathroom although not overly spacious, did include a bath with combined shower, a single wash basin and a toilet. The bed was actually extremely comfortable.

“You’ll always find a comfortable bed and a great location at a Jurys Inn.”

In the hotel itself you will be pleased to discover their Oddsocks Bar and Kitchen, which was a most pleasant surprise for a hotel of this nature. The space is rather chic and quirky and you will find an abundance of Chesterfield sofas, armchairs and banquette style seating. In terms of the food offering, the kitchen serves up a vast gastro pub style menu along with a large cocktail menu to match. The atmosphere is fun and bustling and synonymous as to what you would expect from a Brighton restaurant.

The Jurys Inn Brighton City Centre location in our minds is more suited to the business traveller, with being so close to the train station. Their waterfront location on the other hand would be more suitable for those away on a weekend getaway looking to embrace Brighton and its seaside atmosphere. However we actually cannot fault either location.

You always know what to expect from a Jurys Inn and that’s one of the draws for us. You’ll always find a comfortable bed, a good food offering, helpful and friendly staff and a great location at a Jurys Inn. We find Jury’s Inn hotels to be both practical and stylish and for that reason they come highly recommended by us, especially their locations in Brighton.
