On our most recent trip to Berlin, we decided to take a stay at the Lux 11 Hotel. This hotel can be found in the Shoreditch of Berlin - a lovely area full of small and quirky independent boutique shops. In fact, the hotel itself could also be described as more of a boutique hotel, with a simplistic finish.

After an efficient check-in we were shown on our way to our superior suite. The suite itself is large in size and offers a separate living area, complete with a small kitchen and rear facing balcony. There is a large bedroom area, as well as an open plan bathroom with a glass panel separating the bedroom from the walk-in shower. You will also find another balcony off the bedroom, this time facing the front of the hotel, offering a beautiful spot to enjoy in the morning as the sun rises over the impressive city view.

You will also find a small wardrobe in the suite as well as storage space for luggage in a separate passage behind the bedroom. The suite comes complete with all the necessary luxuries, including two flat screen TVs as well as an espresso machine and a mini bar located in the kitchen.

“Our suite was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great stay.”

In terms of hotel facilities, Lux 11 has a partnership with the local fitness studio located just opposite, which is extremely high-tech and provides a great selection of up to date equipment. This fitness studio is free to use for hotel guests, and we would thoroughly recommend you to check it out should you be staying at Lux 11.

You will find an Asian restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, along with a concept store which also serves coffee and pastries. Grabbing a coffee and a pastry from the store and enjoying it as the sun rose on the hotel’s outdoor terrace is a great way to start the day.

We would definitely recommend Lux 11 as a great hotel in Berlin. Our suite was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great stay.
