The Manor House Hotel is ideally situated on the tranquil outskirts of Bath. Shrouded in history and with the charm and traditional exterior to match, the hotel offers its guests a peaceful hideaway in rural Wiltshire.

Inside the beautiful stone walls, the Manor House provides guests with a relaxing treat in the form of the Manor House Full Afternoon Tea. Served on the sofas in the main lounge, the afternoon tea provides all the traditional courses as well as a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee 2004 champagne.

“The service was very friendly and the staff helped to create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere within which guests could enjoy their afternoon tea.”

The cakes served with the afternoon tea were tasty and as expected, but were beaten in flavour by the fresh and delicious selection of sandwiches. The sandwiches included free-range egg and cress, cucumber with cream-cheese and chive, Uig Lodge Smoked Salmon and Old Spot ham and grain mustard. All of the sandwiches were fresh and well-prepared.

The service was very friendly and the staff helped to create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere within which guests could enjoy their afternoon tea.
