The Amsterdam supperclub is an unusual take on dining in the heart of the city. Designed with comfort and alternative style in mind, supperclub is lined with bed-like sofas and draped in low lighting for a relaxed but dramatic atmosphere.
Focussing on the entertainment rather than the food, supperclub holds hundreds of events every year while guests look on from their trendy and comfortable seats. But despite the relaxed feel, we were still impressed by the delicious 5 course tasting menu that we were presented with throughout the night.
“supperclub proves that you don't have to follow the rules to be popular.”
Being entertainment focussed, the supperclub certainly knows how to hold an event. Encouraging creativity, the venue uses music, art and many other forms of entertainment to wow even regular visitors. On our visit supperclub was holding a tribute to one of Amsterdam’s most famous areas, the Red Light District. But far from distasteful, this display of dancing, music and lights was dazzling and very impressive. Every diner seemed in awe of the talent and a DJ finished off the night in style.
Although not your average dining establishment, supperclub proves that you don’t have to follow the rules to be popular. Perfect for a spontaneous night out, the venue is daring and exciting, far from the norm.
